When deciding which hearing aid is right for each patient, we look at the degree of hearing loss (mild, moderate, moderately severe, severe or profound), lifestyle (how active you are), hearing goals, and budget.
The first step before determining which hearing aid is right for you is to have your hearing tested. Once we have the results of your audiogram, we can determine which device will better suit your needs. A conversation will also be had to discuss your lifestyle and how active you are. If you live an active lifestyle and spend your time in busier environments, then you will need a higher level of hearing technology.
